The age is actually 17! You just have to contribute a lot to the bracelet community, this could be by: making lots of patterns, helping in the forum or making YouTube content. You have to be noticed by the users and moderators of the site, who may suggest you to admin when they are looking for new mods, so you can't apply but you don't have to take the role if offered it. I think this is everything but I have a feeling that I have missed something.

You have to be a bracelet king to become a moderator cause they can’t just rank a skiller all the way to a moderator. Help people in the community and there actually isn’t really an age limit, there is one and isn’t at the same time. Like they wouldn’t let me become a mod because I’m only 11, but they used to I think only do 17 and up but arf820 is a moderator and she’s sixteen so it kinda just depends how helpful you are. If you are really helpful and 16 they might let you, so I guess the age limit is 16 but they might eventually let someone younger, idk

Just so you know~ moderator is not a rank. Moderators are trusted people who help with bb to moderate, accept posts, comments, patterns and variations. You need to be at least 17 to become one, and you need to be active and prove you can be trusted. Moderators are people who do a lot for the community. Always have a positive and helpful attitude. I’m not a moderator, but these are some things you should have.
