Last Valentine’s Day one of my best guy friends kept pestering me to ask out my crush. I kept saying no because I was too scared. The three of us had to deliver a cart to the cafeteria that our theater teacher borrowed so my friend decided to loudly yell “WELL IM GONNA LEAVE YOU TWO ALONE” and run back to the room. So me and my crush stood there awkwardly not saying anything until I said “so...what’s your favorite color?” because I’m an idiot and too scared to talk. My friend was very disappointed in me for not asking him out lol. He said “I left you guys alone so you could do it!” Eventually when Spring break came I texted my crush and asked him out. He said yes. Then covid hit. But we have been together for 9 months now. |

So when I was 11 in sixth grade, I really liked this boy. He was new so he didn’t really know who I was until our teacher sat us next to each other. Fast forward a couple months and my (now ex) best friend tells him that I like him. At first he didn’t really say anything but then he started being really nice to me and I asked him out. We dated on and off the rest of the year until I broke up with him at the beginning of 7th grade. I liked someone else and spent most of the year being rejected by like 3 different boys and the whole time I thought maybe I shouldn’t have broken up with my boyfriend. After Christmas break, I went to a basketball game with some friends and he was there. We hung out in a group and I had kinda forgotten how much I liked hanging out with him. That night I texted him and told him I liked him. He said he was sorry, but he liked this girl that kind of hated me for no reason. A week later, he had told me that she got a girlfriend (she’s bisexual) and he said that he liked me. He asked me out and we start dating and now it’s been almost a year and we’re still together🥺🥺💕

Also, the other girl that he like kinda worried me at first, but then he texts cute things and calls me beautiful and I forget all about that. (I know jealousy is really bad but in the middle of seventh grade I got really badly heartbroken by a boy who told me to commit suicide. PSA: be nice to others because it can effect their whole life)❤️
