Learning to skate (ice), Need help!!!

Long story short, I havent skated in 7 years and I completely forgot how to do it. I just got new skates today bc I wanna learn how to skate again... anyone have any tips, tricks, or advice? Or just how not to fall? I'd prefer to keep all of my bones intact..... HELP PLEASE!!! THANK YOU!!!

I haven't skated, but I know how to roller blade. One of my best tips is keep your weight forward. If you fall, fall forward. Landing sitting down can be harmful to your back.

skating itself isnt too hard but I noticed that after years of not skating knowing how to break is hard, I suggest looking up techniques for stopping

I was taught how to skate from a former instructor for ice skating and falling forward is not the move.... definitely look up techniques online or maybe take a few classes to get back in the rhythm
