How can you convince your mom to get you a new puppy? My mom just had a baby last month and said that we could get another dog but then she changed her mind. We already have a dog and I have a younger sister. I've been trying for years but still no puppy.

She might be hesitant to get a dog because of the new baby. Puppies are a lot of work and can be super unpredictable and she probably doesn't want the baby to get scratched/bitten, etc. I'd suggest waiting until the baby is old enough to help take care of a dog and be around one without making it feel like it needs to use its claws/ teeth to protect itself. 🙂

Puppies need almost as much attention as a baby so right now your mom probably has very little time to give to a new dog.When my family got our dog we would have to bring her outside right after she ate because puppies usually go to the bathroom when they have finished eating. A puppy right now would not be a good idea because your family is still settled into life with a new baby. Wait until the baby is older 2 or 3 years old to discuss getting a new pet with your mom. |

I got my puppy in November about 4 weeks before my birthday I had been asking for a dog since my old dog died 4 years ago maybe ask if you can get it for your birthday and she might say yes

I asked her for one already and she said no. I didn't think that I'd get one anyway but thanks for all of your suggestions!!!🙂
