how much string would an 100 row and 100 base string alpha take?

I tried starting one a while ago and realized I miscounted the string so I have to restart. I’m not sure I even have enough string but I really want to make the wallhanging for myself and so I can’t seem to figure out how much string to buy. What would you buy if you were making such a large hanging?

I would definatley cut it longer than you think. I would probably do at least half an arms length

40-50cm per Base String should be long enough( around 3-4 bobbins completely). And for the leading string rather take a bit more. I made a big alpha a while ago and it took me around 6 bobbins for the background colour. Good luck!
