is dnc thread worth it or are there cheaper alternatives that will work better? i'm out of my current thread and need new thread 🙂

I typically buy DMC since it's at all the craft stores and has a lot of different colors, but I do have threads of other brands! I started off with IRIS and it makes knots practically the same size as DMC. I've also heard people use Loops and Threads and Prism. I have not gotten a change to try those yet, but from what I've heard, they're both good! DMC also recently came out with a new line called Threadship! This is thread by them that is specifically geared towards friendship bracelet makers. However, it is craft cord (string that looks like it's woven together by two pieces) so I'm not sure if that's what your looking for. Hope this helps!! 😄

dmc in my opinion is too expensive and i have been okay without it for the past few months since i started. However i will be getting some for christmas which could change my mind. At dollarama and dollar tree i always pick up different types of thread. I buy them whever i see cheap prices and most of the brands i work with are amazing.
