I have a bunch of scrap thread, but I don’t know what to use it for. I don’t really like the look of the rag rug bracelets that people typically use to get rid of their scrap thread. Any other ideas?

maybe try making alphas that use a little bit on lots of colours. i make my rag rugs in forward knot rows and not how people mainly do when they knot together their scrap threads and they stick out i don't like that look. or there is a tutorial on making variegated thread using scrap threads.or make some bracelets and test the colour switch technique

I usually use them in alphas but I also like to use them for colour switch normals! 😊

depending on length you can use it as a base for an alpha bracelet or a keychain ♡

I guess you could use it as stuffing? 🤔

Depending on length, you could make a Peruvian Wave bracelet, or any another small bracelet. You could also use the colour switching method to make multi-coloured Chevrons.

Use the scraps to make a color changing background on alphas. Marsha Knots mentions in her beginner guide video that scraps can be used in that way. It creates a look like the tie dye floss from prism if you use the colors you want.

You could make party rag-rugs which you switch colors each row and on the ends it is like tasselsor you could do alphas with some color changes you could stuff a mini pillow or stuffed animal or you could tie the ends a a longer one and do cat's cradle |
