I’ve been doing bracelets for a year now and started thinking of joining a challenge here on BraceletBook. But how do they work? I know that you have to upload a picture with the name of the challenge on it, but how does the person making the challenge see them? And if you host a challenge, how do you choose a winner and give them the “prizes”? |

So the official challenges are the ones hosted by moderators. Because they are also the ones who accept photos, when they see your photo with the challenge name in it, they will give you a reward. A reward is basically a little number on your profile picture. They don't do anything, it just shows that you've participated in an official challenge. For the non-official challenges, you usually have to let the person hosting it know that you've submitted a photo of a pattern that falls into their challenge category. For the non-official challenges that say there's a prize/reward, it's usually the winner getting a shoutout in the host's/hostess's bio. I hope this makes sense, and isn't too confusing, but feel free to message anymore questions you might have! 🙂
