General Tips:-Use SEO in your bio, titles, and descriptions. I would suggest doing some research on it, but it is basically just trying to fit as many keywords as possible. Instead of "Blue Chevron" you would do "Blue Chevron Friendship Bracelet Anklet" -Fill out your entire shop (especially your polices) Etsy will put shops that are more filled out higher on the search results. -Think about your branding/color palette. For example, all of my pictures have a white background. -If you are getting overwhelmed with orders, put your shop on vacation mode. You can finish your orders, take a few days off. And start it back up. Bracelet Etsy Tips: - Don't do custom orders unless you have a lot of time. Custom orders make you a lot of money, but they are really time consuming and after a while, it gets boring making the same pattern over and over again. - If you are going to sell pre-made bracelets, I would suggest making at least 5 to list when you start your shop, some being small and some being big. So you have a good variety of prices. - Also, for selling pre-made bracelets, I wouldn't suggest only making large bracelets that take a while, you can also make smaller patterns, so you can stay active with posting listings. Etsy will lower your listings on the search results if you do not post listings regularly. I would suggest making a new listing at least once a week, maybe even twice. -Buy string in bulk. -For me, I will price my normal bracelets at .50 cents per string. So if I make a 16 string bracelet, it would be $8. Sometimes I will adjust it, but that is how I get my general price. I also would look at other listings that are similar to mine and see how much it is selling for. Fell free to ask any questions! I am happy to help 😄 |

I don't have an Etsy, nor do I plan to have one anytime soon. However I think this information seems extremely helpful and as someone that always checks out Etsy shops, these are all things that I notice and look for.

This is super useful! I’ve been considering starting an Etsy, not sure if I’m actually going to do it or not, but if I do these tips will be really helpful (:
