i've been okay but my main problem is that i procrastinate and all of my classes are self paced (no due dates). i also get really distracted at home and tend to slack off.

I got stuck with the math teacher nobody likes and its hilarious to watch her struggle with the online stuff. But we all have to hold in the laughter or else we will get a zero for the day. 😂

honestly i hate public school so much. online sucks but it’s so much better. i used to get so stressed that i would get red splotches on my arms and face and everyone thought i was having an allergic reaction. yeah that hasn’t happened since the last day i went to public school 😉

it is just awkward. i hate the fact that we have to have our cameras on because i don't want to have to do all that work to look presentable at 7:00! also it just doesn't feel normal. i would much rather be in school but i am lucky that i still can go in person twice a week. i also feel like we are very disconnected from the rest of the class. i have many friends that go on the days that i am online and i never see them any more. hopefully we can find a vaccine and get it to people soon so life can be normal-ish again.

I used to absolutely despise online learning but now I actually kinda like it. I’m a VERY huge introvert and don’t like talking to people at all, at least not face-to-face unless they are my friend. And with virtual I just don’t care how I look because in most of my classes I don’t have to turn my camera on and even if I do, no one else has tried on their appearance either. Plus I can make hot chocolate during the day and if I get hungry I can get a snack instead of waiting for my 1:30 lunch time. I know virtual learning isn’t for everyone but it works well for me. I do miss my friends and boyfriend but I get to see them every weekend and we text throughout the whole day, plus I FaceTime my boyfriend after school. But as I said, at first I DESPISED virtual because I wanted to start my very first day of high school in person and with my friends. And I do miss being in choir with everyone but from what I’ve gathered my friends can’t really talk to each other during school due to the social distancing measures so I’m really not missing all that much. Of course it took me two months to figure that out lol.

I honestly love it. I hate actually going to school and with online learning I just have to take my hair out of whatever I put it in for the night and join my zoom call. I find it way more easier and since I have a baby sister I enjoy being able to spend a lot of time with her. I also like how if I wake up late, don’t turn my video on, or answer any questions I can just say it’s tech issues and it’ll be fine, unlike if I were in school, I would get a tardy slip 🙂

there are both pros and cons to online class. a con is that i am a senior at a new school, so i don’t get to go to the school building everyday. it’s hard to keep up with organic/bio chem online because i get wayyy too distracted. that is literally the only class i pay attention to when i’m at home. which is not a good thing but i mean my classes are super easy so i just work on bracelets during the class calls.
