I model clothes, not like magazines yet but just for runway shows. My mom and my grandma were models so modeling was always something that I was meant to do

I wasn’t in the industry but I researched heavily and my grandma was in it, imo it’s not all it cuts out to be lol. There’s a TON of discipline involved (workout schedules, diets, scheduling meetings and showings, marketing, all kinds of regulations for how you appear personally if you’re branded to a company), and if you’re starting out you have to do a lot of marketing yourself to get your name out there, then research a brand if you’re wanting to be branded that you agree with and that has a good history of treating their models well. At the end of the day your job is to be a hanger though and sadly some businesspeople will see you only as that ): there’s also tons of companies that take advantage of aspiring models by promising them the “opportunity to model” for their company, but the opportunity is just you buying their clothes and getting a slight discount code to give to your friends so if you’re wanting to start out be wary of those as well
