to attach the string to the stick, you just do a larkshead knot. basically fold your string in half, pinch it at the middle to create a loop, and put it against you wooden stick. then take the two ends and put it through the loop. tighten the knot and repeat until you have the right amount of base strings. hope that helps! 🙂
