I went there last summer to the main land east coast (I'm sure). My family were hoping to go back this year because we went last year and it was the perfect holiday for everyone, well that's not happening anymore. But we do hope to go back because it is so nice there.

@Knots_EM @V_2007 great! I live in Greece and I've never been abroad (that's why my English is so awful😅). But I've traveled a lot inside the country and i have visited many places in Greece!! If you ever need any advice or suggestions about Greece feel free to ask me!!😜

@vscodonut how do you learn greek mythology? I mean at what age do you start learning about it and when do you typically stop learning at school?For example in Greece we start at the third class of elementary school and and stop at the fourth

I've been to Greece before and I loved it. Everyone there was so nice and friendly and I went to all these ruins!

I know the mythology question wasn't aimed at me but I will answer it for me anyway 😂. My school did a term (part of the school year) learning about Greece and part of that was learning about mythology. I looked it up and ancient Greece is actually part of the history curriculum where I live but I'm not sure if everyone learns about it because I moved schools and at my new school they didn't do Greece. Most people know about (I think) Greek mythology through the Percy Jackson books, my brother knows a lot about all the gods just from reading those books.

i’m greek!! i live in the united states though, so i haven’t been yet (our trip got canceled this summer due to covid). my yiayia and pappou have taught me lots about the culture and language. i went to greek school and did greek dance for a little as well. i can’t wait to go and get to meet more of my family. do you like the islands or mountains more?

i know some basic stuff like greetings but i honestly forget most of what i learned since it was never reinforced. i hope to learn again though!
