Okay so I've noticed that people I'm not really friends with always act like they really like me and ask for me to make them a bracelet. Also friends tell me that some of THEIR friends who I don't know saw a bracelet i had made and they want one too. How do I tactfully decline without making it seem like I'm a jerk?? (Even though it's kinda rude to ask that)

Also they never offer to pay me and buying all the embroidery floss gets really expensive.

You're not alone. I'm having that same issue. All these kids like to take advantage of us and our skills for bracelet making. It just shows how fake people are and that they just try to butter you up just to get what they want, in this case a bracelet. So many people at school pretend they're my friends when sometimes they're just complete strangers wanting a bracelet. Sorry if it wasn't helpful but I just wanted you to know that you're not alone 😐

I had the same issue back in grade school but my mum told me I wasn't allowed to give away any crafts anymore because it was costing her too much. So I just told them that, and if they were willing to pay for it I would make it.

Yes, if you're willing to make it if they pay let them know that or just point blank say 'I'm not allowed to give away my crafts anymore because it costs too much money to give everyone something for free'

Just say that making the bracelets is very time consuming and that the materials are not free. So if they are willing to pay for the time and material you will be very happy to make them. That is not rude at all 🙂
