Ok I’m gonna get braces soon and I want to know did anyone have an expander before their braces? It’s like a metal bar the goes over the roof of your mouth that you crank everyday to push your teeth outward. I have it right now and I don’t know anyone else who has one

i have braces and i hate them so much lol. last time i went to the orthodontist i asked for blue and they put it on the top but put green on the bottom. neither of them are bad colors, they just look stupid together lmao

I've had an expander in since November 2019, I was supposed to get it out in May but I'll be getting it out in mid-July (because of covid-19). I've had braces since January 2020!

I have, it is the worst because I have not been able to go to the dentist since February and they were just going to put one thing to separate my front teeth and now they are all separated 😭

@Disney12 @ShivaniS oh really? I have it right now and I’m at the point where there is that annoying gap between my two front teeth and it’s driving me nuts. I’m not sure if that happens to everyone but...

@ShivaniS Oh my orthodontist said the gap will go away in a few weeks because now we’ve stopped cranking it... I really hope that’s true 😂
