Someone gave my pattern 1 star for the subject matter

I made a pride pattern that I thought was honestly pretty cool and someone gave it 1 star. when I asked about it they said it was because they don't support that. I don't understand why, because that has nothing to do with the quality of the pattern?? Just looking to rant really 🤔

Yeah, I get it. People shouldn’t let what they believe impact the rating of the pattern. Still, best to let it go. Also, I took the liberty of looking at your patterns and I think your pride pattern is really cool 🙂

As much as it is my choice not to associate with or support it, I really love the pride pattern and my outlook on the subject does not mean I cannot appreciate the pattern because I don't have to make it.

@Truff yeah i have been noticing people giving patterns really low stars and when i see that i go to the pattern and give it five stars because i don’t think it’s right even if you don’t like the pattern then just ignore it. i dont myself associate my self with it but i support everyone who is ,so i am so sorry this happened i made sure to rate your pattern 5 starts because it is well deserved

i’m sorry thais happened to you! luckily, @Admin has stated previously that he is looking to get rid of ratings all together because of the frequent misuse of the system with one star ratings, and wants to replace it with a “like” or “love” based system 😊

@Truff 🙂 The pattern is beautiful, your profile picture too and ... many give bad scores for no reason 🙁 . They have done it to me too and they haven't even deigned to cut the threads and experiment / make the pattern 😢In my case, since I make patterns and I know how "difficult" it is, when I see a pattern that I don't like, I simply skeap it without rating or hearts to be loving it. Soms asking via Messaging directly to the person and not receiving any response or the person behaves rudely 😢 nad that's very frustrating, so I know how you feel 😢 Kind regards, @Aracne |

Yup, rating patterns 1 star is a problem here. Haven't had an experience, but see many others with it. If you don't support the subject matter associated with the pattern, move on and don't give such blatant hate. People should be better than that. With that being said, rating your pattern 5 stars b/c it's actually pretty awesome. 👍

sometimes i accidentally give a person not a lot of stars it has happened to someone before and if it is because of me that your ratings become low i am really really sorry i use the app more than i use the website so sometimes my finger can accidentally touch the screen or when i’m scrolling it could accidentally touch it so if it does happen because of me know that i didn’t not mean to rate it 1 star and that it was an accident and i would never do that.
