I have learned from row by row, but since everyone is so positive I tried it on the end of my last bracelet, but it didn’t go too well. I kept having to untie things because I wasn’t looking at the pattern as a whole

Segment knotting unless I’m having issues with the pattern, then I switch to row-by-row because it’s easier for me to interpret

I used to do row by row when I was first learning to read patterns but now that I’ve been using patterns for a while, I segment knot since it’s faster.
