I just started using alpha patterns (50+ strings) as cross sitch patterns. Anyone else do this?

i've been making cross stitch bookmarks! i find when i knot them they are sometimes too thick and fall out of my books when they are in my bag. i also used bb to create a pattern for my crafts class. so far i've made #135643 #106047 and #164439 and i'm working on #112891
