@l_d_1_3 omg yeah!! DO NOT DATE OR TRY TOO that’s honestly the best tip bc it’ll just get in the way of ur studies and sometimes even break the relationships with ur friends. I tried to date this guy I liked for 3 YEARS and then we ended up breaking up and he moved to another country. we were rly good friends before we “dated” and now he doesn’t even text/talk to me 😔

Coming from someone going into junior year of high school, my advice is simple. Academically, do your best in class because middle school is where you build a foundation for your classes in the future and I promise it will be so much easier in the long run when you actually know what's going on. Never be afraid to ask for help. I had this problem (honestly, I still do sometimes) and it only hurts you. Also, learn how to study now rather than trying to cram later. Socially, make sure your friends are genuine and good people. I think one of the things I wasn't prepared for was when I grew apart from some of the people that I considered my closest friends, and I made some completely new ones too. It's totally natural to grow apart from people and I wish I had known that. People will enter and exit your life no matter what age you are. Don't be sad that it happens, but be happy that you made some memories. Finally, as dumb as it sounds, BE YOURSELF. I used to hate when people told me this, but being earnest is the best way to be happy! Don't hide things about yourself (or limit yourself) because they're "uncool" or "weird," because the people who really matter won't care what you like because they will like you for YOU - every part of you. Also, popularity may seem like huge deal now but I promise that it literally doesn't matter at all later and, in my case, nobody really cares about popular people anymore at my high school. The social hierarchy thing is fake and dumb. They do their thing and we do ours. That's the short version lol sorry it turned out longer than I thought. Im 1 step closer AND away from studying for GCSE (BRITISH SHOOL) so that means im going to be in Year 9/ Grade 8. kinda suck but I think it gonna be cool, I love science

To everyone going into middle school for the first time: it’s gonna be a little weird at first and you might not know what’s going on but you’ll make new friends and you’ll settle in. For me middle school was a huge improvement over elementary, so just give it a chance.

I am currently going into 8th grade but middle school has been a lot of fun in my opinion! Some tips I would give is to not get into unessacary fight since it might effect your reputation in order to go into early college, middle college, or other cool programs. Try to make friends because they might help you ( If your shy like me just start small like "what do you like to do?"). Lastly please have fun because that will be a phase of life that you will never experience again! ❤️

middle schoolers was the first time i got homework and harder assignments that were graded, and even though your grades in middle school don’t really matter, they kinda represent what grades you’ll get in high school unless you make serious change

my tip for any people who are starting middle school is to not get into drama and stick with your GOOD friends. I got into drama in 6th grade and I regret it a LOT. Please don't have any toxic friends and stay positive and focus on school guys 😄.

Middle school is great! For me, the first two weeks were a little difficult (getting used to switching classes and meeting a bunch of new people), but then it gets a lot easier?
