So I really like this guy and we finally started talking yesterday and I thought we really hit it off but he hasn't responded to any of my texts today. I really like him and I dont want to seem needy but my anxiety is going through the roof. Any advice?

Take it slow. My boyfriend and I have been together since August 2013. He made the first step all the way back in June, and we almost didn't lock it (if that makes any sense whatsoever) If he likes you, then he will take that step. But don't freak out if he doesn't, because he's probably not the right one if he doesn't make his move.

This is gonna make me sound so old (I'm not even 29 yet!) but I'm kinda glad texting wasn't really a thing when I was meeting guys in high school. We passed notes in the hallway during passing periods. And that was 2003! But I'll tell you like I told my niece, cell phones and texting are kind of a problem when it comes to dating. Because if you have your phone with you all the time and immediately respond to texts, you assume that most people do too. But if he's still in high school, and his parents are paying for his phone, they might take it from him when he gets home from school. He may have gotten grounded from it. Perhaps he's not allowed to have it during homework. I'd try to talk to him, in person, at school and see what's up. If he was at a family dinner or something like that and couldn't text back, you don't want to get upset over something he couldn't control. But honestly, there are a lot of things to have anxiety over. Especially while in high school. Don't let a boy be at the top of the "anxious list." I look back at some of the guys I liked in high school and can't believe I spent so much time getting so worked up over guys I haven't seen in 10 years.

I agree with SBilbrey, most guys don't get the whole texting thing, it's better face to face. I'd use texting to organise a meet up but not general conversation.

If he has not texted you back wait and dont text him till he texts you back.He might have run out of credit or he read the text and something came up and forgot to text you back,thats what I do.I am guessing you go to the same school as him,just say hello to him and start to become close friends before you think of dating. My guy friend he is rubbish at texting I mean you send him a text and he wont reply to a week later,guys dont tend to text back quickly. I also agree with Sbilbrey,also I am glad texting when was a thing when I was in high school and passing notes was a thing it made everything easy. |

Take it easy. I have a crush too. My advice is you have to be, pretty, nice, cute and beautiful. So you like this guy. You have to take it easy and slow. If this guy likes you too that's great! If the guy doesn't the guy is no the right one for you. You said he hasn't responded to any of you're texts,maybe he is busy or maybe he was ignoring you. You have to talk to him how you feel or you should talk to him why didn't he text you back. Tell him. That is my advice. You should take my advice. Ok?

Just don't over text them. they will not like it trust me. if he likes you at all they will text you first. most of the time when I am talking to a guy, I refuse to start the conversation. I might say good morning but that is it. Just be careful and think of you first because you are important, but don't be selfish.

Sorry, question, but there's this guy I like and he likes me back but we're both kinda shy sooo… my friends say I should take the step, but I don't wanna deal with the teasing from these two annoying boys in my class who have been bugging me bout who I like. Sooo yeah 🙂

Oh and four boys like me and I consider two of them as meh friends, one of the "friends" is crazy annoying along with the other guy that likes me. Sooo when ppl tell me this at lunch, cuz I'm kinda the shy girl and my mom also monitors my lunch at school cuz she's a teacher, so yeah

@crazycrafts yeah I had that to before, I liked him and he liked me and unfortunately we were also shy so it went on quite a while just saying hi's and stuff like that but after a while my were going crazy cause every time we looked at each other we'd turn tamatoe red🙂 so one day I went on the Internet and searched up some quotes, some that insipered me were: "It's OKAY to be scared. Being scared means your about to do something really, really brave.""Thinking will not overcome fear, action will." So I did decide to take the step and eveything went just fine. And anyway who cares about teasers. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"🙂
