Bracelet Penpals

I was wondering what people thought of this idea. What if you paired up with someone, from your own country or a different country (depending on postage costs), and you sent each other bracelets. It would be like penpals, but you write a card instead of a letter and send a friendship bracelet every time. The card wouldn't have to be long, just like:

To Penpal

How are you? We haven't spoken in a while! I hope you like your bracelet!

From Me

If possible, the bracelet could be a pattern which has been specifically made for your penpal and has not been posted anywhere. This way it is super special and unique. If that's not possible, still try to make a pattern that you have made, but if not, it wouldn't matter and you could just do any. Before you start agree to keep the amount of strings similar, so one person doesn't use loads of their string up making 16 string bracelet only to receive a 6 string bracelet back. You could say only make bracelets between 8-10 strings or 12-16 strings.

So, what do you guys think?

Glad you like the idea! I forgot to mention, but I was thinking for it to be an ongoing thing, like penpals, rather than a one off thing, like a bracelet swap. 🙂

I like the whole idea, and I would like to know that sone across the world is wearing my bracelets but I just don't want to give a complete stranger my address. He/she does not need to know where I live.

@Sewer909 It is the SAME exact thing in selling a bracelet (where they see the return address), or when buying anything off the internet!! If you don't want to give your personal address, ask if you could give the address of your grandparents, aunt, uncle, etc., if they live in a different state! #justsayin
