hey guys! I was just wondering what patterns everyone likes? i personally like alphas a LOT more then normals! They are soooooo much easier, but who knows maybe some of you prefer normals over alphas! Let me know what you think! Or let me know a good pattern! Thx! 😊

I love alphas too! For me they are easyer to make than normal, plus, I like more the things you can do on alfas.

That's what happened with me! I started with normals and thought they were super easy. I was just so intimidated by alphas. But then I actually started doing alphas, and they were SO much easier! And Farola's right! I love the pictures I can draw with alpha patterns.

I actually thought that alphas were just pictures! I didn't actually know you could make them until about half a year ago, now i know that you can actually make them!!!!! And they're soooo much fun!!!!!!

I like both, but when I first started making bracelets I learned from a book and the patterns weren't written like alpha or normal patterns so when I started alphas I liked them because they were easy to understand. After I figured out how to properly read a normal pattern I liked them better, I just think they look so intricate compared to alphas. I also feel like alphas are string eaters. They probably use the same amount but seeing like two full skeins of one colour go into a bracelet sometimes makes me feel like they're a waste. However, I do like and make both kinds just depending on what mood I'm in.

I started in a book and thought It was really easy too! Then I learned normal and was like "YES" my friend an I wanted to learn alphas but we thought that u had to get an account so u could see the pattern ( the arrows like normal) then we watched like 15 YouTube videos and finally figured it out but I enjoy alphas a lot more!

@Margaron yeah i will agree with you on that one... They kinda do eat up all your string... I just try to find the ones that don't have to many strings! I usually dont like going over 20 strings!
