@bearcat01 bahaha yes! even though you’ve seen my very big collection that i’m going to expand soon, i don’t want to use it!! thats why i keep my leftover string that wasn’t used in a braclet

Not really. When I go to the store, I normally plan my bracelets ahead, and specifically buy string for those bracelets. I make alphas a lot, but the only reason I don’t make big alphas is because I know I’ll never finish them.

I used to be like that but now that I own so much I do not mind, I buy a lot of my string in bulk so it’s okay when I use it up.

This is so mee!I am always scared to use more thread.I feel so guilty after i make a bracelet and it becomes a glop.Now because of the lockdown it is very hard to get thread and not only that it is really expensive in the stores in our town .Amazon is not an option as amazon does not deliver such items to our area yet.😑😪😔

100% yes! I always nervous to use my black and white string because they are used in almost every bracelet. I still make alphas but not with the background colour being a colour that I want to keep🙂

Yeah, for a lot of my colors I only have one skein so I never want to use it up because it feels like a waste of money. Which is pretty funny because the whole point of buying it is to use it😂

i’m always scared of using my favourite colours cuz then i’ll run out but then i can’t think of any good colour combos without them so i get annoyed and then don’t end up making anything 😂

for me it depends on the color bcs over the years more of the not so pretty colors have built up and i don't know what to do with them but since i get new thread every year or so once colors like black,white,and blue get low i start getting scared to use them

Not really but when I sell my bracelets at the beach Or on vacation, and there’s little kids there, and they want to help me, they also want to make bracelets and it always scares me because they use so much thread and I don’t know how to say noooo😭

@CraftsyCat yeah I do that too. I usually plan my bracelets when I buy string so I’m not nervous to use the pretty colors. I DEFINITELY used to be like this though! I never cut my strings long enough and didn’t want to waste my pretty colors 😅 I’ve gotten better though.
