hello! i recently picked up guitar, and i wanted to see if anyone else played! i’m learning so that i can create a band with some of my friends. i’m going through some severe finger pain from my strings (they’re steel) r.i.p. my entire left hand

I play normal, so it doesn't hurt as bad, but I have been doing lessons for about two years or so

@awesomelgk that’s cool! some people say that normal guitar hurts more than electric, but i don’t know if that’s true. right now, i’m having a lot of trouble with the f#m chord. it hurts so much to do it!

I play guitar! This is my 6th year! I totally recommend learning the Beatles songs such as blackbird or here comes the sun. They are my favorite songs to play at the moment! I just recently picked up electric guitar as well and some songs I really want to learn is back in black and Johnny b Goode. Lol I could talk about guitar for hours! 😂 😄

Lol I just read that you play electric 😂 so blackbird and here comes the sun might not be a great fit for electric. Lol I remember the pain my fingers were in when I first started playing(I had a steel string acoustic guitar) but you get used to it and it doesn’t hurt anymore over time. 👍
