I got this idea, fueled by a craft site that I'm on and that is doing swaps, and I thought 'Hey! A bracelet swap would be lots of fun!'. So, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together a group of people, making bracelets and then sending them to each other? I haven't yet ironed out all the details yet, but was wondering if there would be any interest in doing something like this?

I think that would be fun, although i'm extremely slow at making bracelets so the person/people I make them for might have to wait awhile... i think it would be awesome though. I'd be interested.

I was thinking there'd be at least 2 weeks for knitting before the sensory date. Do you guys think that'd be reasonable?

So I think there's a couple of ways we can go about it. People can just find their own partners from this thread and swap on their own. Or we can do it with an organizer, who partners people up and sets guidelines etc. Is there one people would prefer?

Well there seems to be 4 of us that are interested so we could just do a round robin where basically person 1 sends to person 2 who sends to person 3 who sends to person 4 who sends to person 1 or I could partner us off so person 1 and 2 swap and then person 3 and 4 swap.

Alright then if the interest is still there from everyone we can do a round robin. I'll pm you all with questions in regards to allergies etc. So everything runs smoothly. 🙂

This sounds like fun. But at the same time I would be afraid it would end up getting lost in the mail.

If you are adding beads or findings to your bracelet there is likeliness that if you send in a regular envelope it could tear through, but if you're sending a knotted bracelet it probably won't, at least I've never had that problem...

Is it too late to join? I'm pretty new to this whole bracelet making community and I think this sounds like a lot of fun and I'd definitely be interested. Let me know! If not that's okay too. (:
