I’m in the process of reorganizing my thread. i’ve taken out all of my organized bobbins, and now i have a dilemma. Well, not really, that is pretty dramatic i would say haha. i really like things to be organized perfectly and it will literally stress me out if something is not neat, tidy and well-kept. usually it would take me forever to make a decision and thats why I’ve come here to ask for your personal opinion! So, which do you prefer? ꕥ do you like your thread organized by colour groups? and if so, do you do it in the order of the rainbow or in a different order? what is that order? Or, ꕥ do you like your thread in numeric order? ** i used to organize my thread by colour and by numeric order, but i really want to switch it up. |

I separate my threads in shades, like pastels and neons. Then, I create a rainbow ombre out of them. Hope this helps

I like to organize my threads by color groups. Once I have my threads in general colors (i.e. roy g biv), then I organize those colors into specific shades.

i have mine in rainbow order, theres three rainbows though : ))a pastel, normal, and multicolor rainbow i also have my multicolor all in one section |

i just ordered tons of string and i wrapped them and then put them in boxes by colors kind of fading into one another

I like organizing them by color groups, but not perfect gradients because that takes forever. But this way if I’m like “hmm I want to use a purple and a blue” I can just look in one spot for each and I don’t have to root around to find all my blues or purples

I like to sort by colour myself. Ideally, I designate each row for shades of a particular colour - whatever way I'm feeling it, and then I pick an end to be the dark shades and work my way up or down the row to the lightest shade. Then I keep the pattern so all of my darkest strings are on one side of the container and the lightest are on the other!

i say prob color groups, bc it makes it a lot easier to look for a specific shade u want if it's all grouped in one area. so like if ur looking for a dark red, it would be much easier looking in the red section rather than the whole box.

The rainbow is just a gradient so that’s why I organize mine in that way because it’s an easy gradient

By rainbow order. When I reorganized my thread, I found it very helpful to search up some organizing my thread collection videos or my thread collection videos. It gives me some ideas on how I want to organize my threads and the order of the rainbow. (When I was organizing I forgot yellow and blue 😂)
