i finished sunrise on the taping last night and SO MANY THOUGHTS keep tumbling though my head. i basically read it in a day but i don’t have anyone to talk to about it… so if you’ve read it say whatever and i’ll listen!!!

ahh! i saw this on the forum but i didn’t want to open it until i finished the book! just finished it so here we go. the whole thing with lou lou was so dark and thought provoking. i loved this book but i guess it wasn’t as intriguing as the other hunger games books just because we know what already sort of happens from catching fire. i loved the way it connected details from both tbosas and the og trilogy

i think one of my favorite things about this book is how it made me feel. like with ballad, i loved it and also read it in a day, but i was more involved in the story from a plot perspective. with sunrise, i felt things. i felt things more than i expected, especially from a story where we already had information on how it ended. i’ll rant more later because this book keeps going through my head even though i finished it on wednesday.

I enjoy how we found out more about the contestants in the 3rd quarter quell in catching fire because some were his mentors and he knew them. But what really broke me was the whole punishment with Beete and Ampert
