Does anyone have periods of time where they have no motivation to work on any bracelets and if so how does it start, and how do you get back into it? For me it’s gradual like I’ll stop taking pics of ones I’ve made, then I’ll stop finding interest in finding new patterns, then I’ll pick back up in weeks, months, or maybe even years.

I’m going through that right now, hadn’t made a bracelet or anything in several months but I wanted to make a bunch of patterns for my gf for Christmas so that’s been getting me back into it since I actually had a reason to get them done (:

I could be working on a project and as SOON as I take my hands off the strings I pick up my phone!
So I just like putting my phone in a different room to force myself into the bracelet because what am I gonna do instead, actual work? 😄

I've been in a slump for so long, I made over a dozen of the same bracelet and that ruined my motivation 😭 I have to make some alphas but I'm struggling to start. Sometimes when I get back into it I remember how much I enjoy knotting, so I'm hoping that happens soon.

Usually making a pattern that is pretty simple is helpful, eg a basic alpha with no colour changes on the edges or a LOT of colours overall, because sometimes thinking about doing those things gets me tired in advance 😂
