Which one? A kid sticking a pencil eraser up their nose, or the teacher accidentally knocking a kid down the steps. Not to mention the fact that i was involved in both of these 🤪

When I was in5th grade, In the depths of covid, this kid was at the top of the stairwell and I was at the bottom, because we were in a line up the stairs. This kid had his mask down, and he spit. It landed on my head. 😢Then me and my friends @Slay27 and @Cow28 got interviewed about what happened like something bad went down and in the end, the kid got in trouble. I went to the bathroom after he spit on my head, and I used the sink to wash my head. My hair remained wet for like, a billion hours. |

So when I was in kindergarten there was a boy and he came over to my friend and I and started chasing us trying to kiss us. Another time in kindergarten I would cry a lot because I missed my mom in fact I cried so much that I got expelled from that kindergarten….🫠

Last track season was the most chaotic and mildly terrifying experience of many kids at my school. It started with the long distance coach a man who is very very old fashioned. His favorite form of punishment is public humiliation something many of us kids have experienced. He also hates when athletes get injured. The issue with that is he pushes the kids way too hard m. By the second or third week the athletic training room was full of track kids. Since all his athletes were injured many of them quit or couldn’t compete/practice. He did not take this very well at all and got really mad at our athletic trainer. Now our sprinting coach was new this year, but he went to school to help athletes train and he was a very coveted coach. Because of how well the sprinters were warming up and cooling down and just how good he was at training us very few of the sprinters were injured. The long distance coach hated that the new young coach was being so much more successful with the athletes so he began controlling the sprints coach much more. He told our sprints coach that if he did not have the kids warm up with a mile everyday then he will be fired. The sprints coach knew that if he had the kids do this they would start getting injured and he hated how he was being treated. Not only was the long distance coach treat him like garbage but my jumps coach and the football coach both added to the mess. My jumps coach basically follows the long distance coach like a lost puppy. He would have me coach all the girl even though I only had one year of prior experience. He is kind of sexist and would tell us that we could only talk about track during practice but the guys could goof off and talk about whatever they wanted and of course he would join in. 5/8 of us captains felt like we were working with children. When our sprinting coach did quit we were in charge of mitigating the damage, something 16-18 year olds should not be doing. Once all of that mess was taken over we collectively decided we would push through the season and people would see if they want to come back. That’s what I planned on doing until the practice after our last meet. Since I had spent the entire season working with the new girls I had no time to practice or improve for myself, so for the last meet I decided I would go all out. Because of that my hip started hurting really bad, which is just a remnant of a past injury. So during the next practice I didn’t do anything just so I could heal. I let my coach know and he said it was fine. The next day I was hanging out in the training room and the coach came in to tell me to talk to our athletic trainer about my injury. I let him know that I didn’t need to since multiple doctors had told me to just rest when my hip was hurting. After I said all of this to my coach he said “don’t listen to doctors they’re just going to tell you to rest and take some medicine”. I decided to take my doctors advice so I did not practice and when my coach found out he cornered me next to the girls bathroom with all my friends around me. We got into a mild yelling match and he freaked out and left. I probably would have been kicked off the team had I not been a captain. TLDR my track coaches are very interesting people and me and most of the athletes have decided not to compete in track this year. Oh and they wrote an article about this whole situation in the school newspaper.
