For those who don’t know, the cilantro gene is a gene where cilantro tastes like soap. Both me and my mom have it, it’s part of the reason we don’t like chipotle very much

Mmmm idk about cilantro (for the record, they don’t seem to register as soap to me though i am sorta not fond of the taste), but shiso leaves do taste like soap to me 😆
