Hello wonderful community!Since november I only did alpha pattern and I enjoyed them. However, I what to start normal pattern to make small bracelets. I did try with alpha pattern but it takes to much time. I already know how to do normal pattern but I don’t really understand how to segment a pattern. I NEED MOTIVATION TO START? Why do like normal pattern? Why normal vs alpha? Am I the only one in this situation? Thx (French is my first langage, I hope that my message is clear) |

ok so idk about you but I find color changes in alphas kinda annoying, with normals you can make very colorful bracelets with no color changes at all!! It's my favorite thing about them 😋😋

I like how when you wear them you don’t have to make the the focal point of the alpha is visible and distinguishable, with normals it’s just a petter

What I've noticed is that the bigger the size, clearly the longer a normal or alpha will take. I also don't like normals very much, but I make very small ones. Like 6 or 8 string bracelets because I can finish them in around an hour or less. Another way to motivate yourself is to get some color changing thread. I just did that for my latest bracelet and it turned out well! It's fun to see the color change throughout the bracelet. |

I feel like the only person who likes alpha color changes... Anyways, I prefer normals bc they're much easier to keep organized and take less string overall, and you can finish them quickly. They're all repeating, so you don't have to keep looking back at the patterns. I do occasionally like to experiment w alphas, tho (crochet, tie, loom, bead, anything)
