@fluffdoggy I learned that they lick to make you vomit, let me explain…Wolves in the wild lick their mothers so that they will throw up and regurgitate food for the pups to eat, dogs evolved from wolves so licking you may be so they can eat…but I’d rather pretend they’re just kisses 🤪 Sorry about that fact you probably didn’t want nor need to here but I’m a nerd 🤓 sorry |

@Tikilishi so i'll be honest i've been thinking abt that some more for a month and a half now and my conclusion is that if you believe designing is an actual concept, then we design everything.

@Tikilishi oop sent early sorry but here's the rest: The logic for discovering patterns is that if the combination was always possible, then we didn't design it since it could already exist. however, think about when something new is invented- the first airplane, for example. It's safe to say that the airplane was designed, not discovered, but the math always existed. They found the correct way to make an airplane. They didn't invent a new airflow for the planet and they didn't change the way gravity affects objects, they simply arranged the parts in the correct order for aviation. They made the blueprints and created the plane, so by definition of the word, they designed it.If you don't believe that the concept of design exists, then anything is discovered. It has always been possible to put two atoms or pixels or objects together, so it means that whatever combination you made was a discovery. This is a relatively stable argument until you start thinking about the probability of having 'discovered' the creation vs. making something entirely new. If you put A and B together for the first time, that could count as a discovery. When you keep adding to it, it gets to be more of your design. It becomes ABY, then ABY54, then ABY54#*, and so on. As you continue adding to your discovery, you may be discovering new combinations, but they get increasingly more obscure and less likely to be made my someone else. You are now creating something that did not exist, which invalidates AB as a discovery in the first place. A discovery is something not found before while a new design is something not created. The overall answer is that there are correct and incorrect patterns. If you want to design a watermelon pattern but end up with a hyper realistic portrait of Beyoncé, your mistake is sure to be impressive but incorrect for its intended purpose. Those wishing to tie a watermelon pattern will be mildly surprised to see that they did not make a watermelon. Designing something means that you are making it for a purpose, so your intention matters most. In this scenario, from a thought process I can't quite explain, Watermelon Beyoncé was a discovery but if it was intended to be her instead of an enjoyable summer fruit, it is a design. Sorry that was so all over the place, just my random thoughts about one comment that keeps me awake at night |

I’ve been thinking abt this for months and can’t get it off my mind. What if suddenly a roof covering the entire earth spawned. What would happen? Would the gravity be stronger at one side if the earth making the roof fall on that side, would it just completely collapse, would it just float? IDK

Are we all seeing different colors but can’t prove it because we call each color the same thing regardless of what it looks like. We can’t really explain what blue looks like except for it’s close to green and purple and is the color of the sky.

stealing this off pintrest…what if when we die and we see “the light at the end of the tunnel” its the light to a hospital room where you are reborn and you come out crying because you remember all the things from your past life and over time you slowly forget it but when you remember thats why we have deja vu
