I've been in a book slump for about two weeks after I read an amazing book and I'm trying to get out of it. So far, I've tried:

Reading a shorter book (a novella and somehow, I THINK it's working??)

Reading a classic (or a favorite) and it hasn't worked

Audiobook (I couldn't focus enough)

Different genre (Got bored really fast)

I HATE not having a book to read, so how do you guys get out of book slumps? I need help, please. Also, feel free to give me some good book recs if you have any (:

Thanks guys! : D

I've never been in a book slump (but it sounds awful! I'm sorry!) But that's partly because I always get my books from the library so I have a specific amount of time to read them (3 to 12 weeks, depending on renewals, so that doesn't pressure me to fly through them) and I constantly have a stack on my shelf, in the order that I want to read them
I crazy psychological thriller I highly recommend is Dark Room Etiquette (I forgot the author) I always fly through books like these and this one was fairly thick and I read it in about two days.
Also, You Won't Believe Me by Cyn Balog. Another great thriller I read in just a couple days

@Hylia224 I like Thrillers (both movies and books) a lot so I'll check those out for sure (:
Currently (when I get out of this slump) my next read on my list is Radio Silence by Alice Oesman (:

what helped me get out of a year long reading slump is to find a booktuber to binge, get recs from them, and then go to the bookstore. having a newly owned book gives me that motivation to read but also the comfort of reading at my own pace. hope this helps!
