How do you choose the pattern u will make? By seeing latest pictures, latest patterns, latest variation…..etc

first, build up a veritable todo list 😂if there's a pattern creator i really like, i'll go through all of their patterns and save the ones i like. i'll also use certain keywords when looking for patterns, and of course the hottest/latest patterns are also fair game. i usually base my next bracelet on the colors i have currently and what i'm in the mood to make. when i go string shopping i look at my todo list and pick out colors for specific bracelets so i know i'll be able to make them. |

my to-do list is sooo massive right now so I start by looking through that! I'll also look through the monthly and bi-weekly challenges to see if any of those patterns catch my eyeTo determine whether I wanna do alpha or normal I sometimes think about how much effort I wanna exert / how long i'd like to commit to this round of knotting bc I can never stop a project and go back to it I need to see it through 😅 If it's a normal pattern, I always go for ones with 8 - 12 strings that also work well for segment knotting For alphas, I've been doing those patterns as cross stitch the past year so my choice varies based on my mood! Sometimes if something's really cute I'll just feel tempted to make it 😂 |

My choices are really Zelda based.I try not to pick too many and I like to keep my to-dos realistic, knowing I'll actually do all of them at some point. I like to keep my to-dos small so I don't feel daunted lol I also like to do patterns if somebody asks if someone will do one of their patterns, especially if they're one of my friends. I also think of collections I could make for my business with specific patterns. So recently I chose a bunch that would be cool with mainly black and some spots where neon colors would pop. I put my collections ideas in my loves (along with patterns that I just love in general) |

And for challenges, if I get to pick the pattern, I try to choose one that's already in my to-dos, if I can find one that I'm in the mood to make and it fits the challenge guidelines

I usually follow the strategy of looking through my to do list, figuring out what colors I want to use, and how complicated Im willing to get with a pattern. I often actually start several bracelets at once, or at least have some cut & ready to be made just in case a larger bracelet is too daunting for the moment
