In the quilting community, there is a thing called block-of-the-month. What happens is that someone will post a block pattern to make and everyone making that quilt can make the same block at the same time to share with each other. It works just like the official challenges on here.The challenge would be just one pattern a week. Anyone could join by making the pattern. No need to add any wording to your photos, and there are no prizes. Would anyone be interested in having an unofficial pattern of the week? Should there be both one normal and one alpha pattern or maybe switch between the two every week? Should it be themed or just a random pattern? Should there be a maximum size or a minimum size? Maybe larger patterns at the beginning of the month and smaller patterns at the end? Any other ideas or opinions? |

that sounds pretty cool. you'll have to make the challenge yourself, though.Maybe you could have a big pattern and a small pattern each time. so people who like small patterns won't be overwhelmed, and people who like big patterns can get a challenge. |

@lynx123 I decided I'm going to host it anyway. Based on the views to the post there is enough interest, even if there isn't much engagement. Also, this probably wasn't the best spot to put this post anyway.
