I broke my ankle by jumping from a clothes hamper onto a couch and slipping off, and had to wear an air cast for 6 weeks. I also sprained the other ankle trying to kickflip.

@FireQueen Good luck! 😊I know several people where ECT has worked wonders for them! For me in general, I think the most important thing is to have a good healthcare team that you trust. Even though it did not work for me, I'm still glad I tried it because I know gave it my best shot and can try other treatments knowing that this one is not for me. Having tried ECT and it not working, actually qualified me for a clinical study for Vagus Nerve Stimulation for Treatment-Resistant Depression, and I have high hopes that this might really be the thing that helps me. So when one door closes another one opens. 🙂 |

i fractured my ankle (my tendon got pulled and ripped of a piece of my bone and i was in a boot and crutches for 6 weeks)

When I was 9 I was fooling around on the top of the stairs case , and I accidentally fell backwards tumbling down face first in summer salts. Luckily it had carpet and I only scraped my legs but it was scary when it happened.

When I was 18 months I tripped and fell and broke my arm. Then I did the same thing and broke the other arm when I was 3. I got a carrot stuck up my nose. I sprained my ankle a lot. I fractured my back last year and now it's permanently messed up. I fractured my foot in 10 different places and have to wear a brace when I play sports.

I hyperextended (or so I thought) my knee but it turns out I actually tore some kind of like tendon and so I kept walking on it cause I thought it was just hyperextended and wasn’t treating it properly and I was still in pain 3 weeks so we went to urgent care and they did an X-ray and I had to have surgery on my knee

I don’t know if this counts, but I was helping my grandfather on his farm and fell face first into a pile of poison ivy. My whole body was red, itchy, swollen for almost a month.

I fractured my arm twice in two weeks. When I was doing something with my Dad (during at end of second week) he grabbed my wrist, and I had a bend in my arm (it had set there). It didn't hurt (apparently I have a high tolerance to pain, but even if I wasn't crying at that, I cried at the mention of a needle 🎉Priorities 🎉). It had to be fractured a 3rd time to reset it. 1st time: Falling off my bike 2nd time: Trying to climb onto something (my arm fell out from underneath me) Spent all of Mothers day in hospital :/ (this was something like 5 years ago) |
