I really like track and field but I havn’t seen anyone else on here who likes it too. You can say anything about track and field here! You can talk about your events, funny stories, weird meets, etc.!

My events are shotput, hurdles, 100 meter race, and 4 by 1. But I also do javelin when somebody gets hurt

When I was in track I did hurdles, 400, 800 and 400 relay!

My event is just pole vault sometimes 100m or long jump but mainly pole vault

im a distance kid, had a meet where the first person in my 4x8 didnt wanna finish her 800 so she walked off the track after 350m

@Wolf-lover that’s so cool! Im pretty good at 800 but I have a tendency of sprinting the entire second lap 😭

@Wolf-lover that’s what I’ve been told to do but I don’t really slow down when sprinting the lap so I end up winning. my coaches told me my technique was bad but it works so oh well

@beastyboys she was a 400 runner they wanted to try in the 800 and i go to a big public school w like 100 girls on ghe track team so it’s relatively easy to replace someone in events. the team never let her hear the end of it tho and like if someone had a bad race, we always said atleast you didnt walk off and finished

@xc2024 my school is very intense cuz everybody and their mother would hold a grudge against her. If somebody at my school did that, I don’t think they’d get a second chance 😭 the worst thing I ever did was not tie my spikes tight enough during a 200 and they fell off so I was a bit slower but still got 2nd. My coaches did NOT let it slide tho
