i want to get curtain bangs but i’m kinda scared. for one, i play sports and like to have my hair out of my face. i like to do twin dutch braids. can i still do them (with the bangs in the braids so it’s out of my face)? for two, i tend to breakout on my forehead (literally just my forehead! it’s so annoying!) and idk if the hair on my face will make me breakout bad. if you have curtain bangs i’d like to hear your opinion! The bangs MIGHT make the breakouts bad, but it could also cover it up🤔(but that's coming from someone who doesn't have bangs) |

try cutting it a bit longer (below the nose so you can put them behing your ears if theyre bothering you) and for styling blow dry them and put hair rollers so that they arent too long and really frame your face <3

I had a fringe a few years ago so I think some of my tips can be adapted! My fringe would get more greasy than the rest of my hair so sometimes I'd literally wash it separately like in my bathroom sink 😂 and washing often will probably help w the breakouts. And to style them I'd do what @fcb_neymar said! Just wash off any hair products that make contact w your skin. Dutch braids are also fine, I used to do french braids all the time and they'd stay secure during sports etc. Otherwise I'd either twist the hair out the way and use bobby pins, or a bandana/ thick headband to keep all the hair back. And when you're home u can keep your hair off your forehead to prevent your skin from flaring up too! |

@fcb_neymar yea i’m thinking of getting longer ones for my first time. so in case i don’t like them they won’t take so long to grow. i’ve seen that styling technique and it comes out rlly pretty! i’ll definitely have to try that! tysm i rlly appreciate it! <3

@Zaan_13 yess! i’ve seen people wash their bangs or top portion of their hair separately! i’ve also been watching lots of styling videos so i won’t be completely lost when i have to style them! ok great, braids not being fine was kinda my make-or-break. tysm! i rlly appreciate the help! <3

curtain bangs are really cute and I used to have them 🙂 the only thing I kind of found annoying that u mentioned was how if u play sports they can get in the way, but I’m pretty sure there’s multiple cute hairstyles that you can do that tie them out of your face.

so what youll want to do is have hair clips to clip them back while you play and youll be completely fine

and w the acne, if you keeo them off your face while your hair dries it helps from causing breakouts
