Personally, I thought Gale was a better option. Think about it, if Katniss had never volunteered and Prim hadn't been reaped, they more than likely would have ended up together if there had never been a war

@Yelena09 yeah but to this day there would still be the hunger games because Katniss would never have been the mockingjay. Although I'm sure one of them would've been reaped eventuallyThinking about it in the long run, I say Peeta because Gale gets more needy, childish and arrogant after the 74th games because of Peeta. |

Peeta! And I have quotes to back it up. So when Katniss is talking with Gale about the games and says she doesn’t think she can kill people, he compres killing these human beings (literal children) to her hunting, saying it is the same to take a persons life as it is a random animal. However, when Peeta is in the capital and talking with Caesar about the games, he says how winning the games take such a toll on you because of the terrible act of killing fellow children, and how it’s not just a mindless thing of killing someone, but doing so takes something from you and you can never be the same.

peeta. I personally think Gale was kinda toxic. he made Katniss feel guilty for not loving him, and he was very jealous.

Honestly, Gale is kinda underrated and Peeta is so overrated but I think peeta and Katie’s make a better couple. I cried every time i thought he died

I’m strongly team Katnis. She don’t need either of them. Gale is kinda controlling in the later books and he’s kinda mean. Peeta and katnis form a trauma bond which is sweet but totally not healthy in real life

I thought gale at first, then I switched to Peeta but then SPOILER ALERT when peeta went insane from the capitol and stuff (I forgot the details 😕) I didn’t really like either of them, but I am happy with how it ended. |
