Ok, so my mom made kombucha for a while (that drink that's like really good for you but is like slightly fermented mushroom liquid? Idk google it) but my brother got confused all the time. He called it Marijuana (and I promise you!! We were not growing/making Marijuana!!) But he called mar-o-whana (like "bar" sound yk?) Because he'd only ever read the word, not actually said it out loud everBut it was really funny and my mom was like, "don't go around telling people we make Marijuana ok?! It's KOMBUCHA" |

@tkd2010 omg a bunch of people in my family say “sangwitch” too! They’re from Texas and so they have a different accent from me but they swear that they don’t say “sangwitch” 😂

@nev_m_07 haha we live in texas and she has her whole life. i’ve met very few others who say that tho. she’s hispanic and has a thick accent so she stresses the “sang” part of it hahaha
