Sometimes starting small helps. Just to get the process of creating something going again. Other times i feel like making stuff for other people also helps me get out of the slump. Like a cute keychain that reminds you of a certain person or a bracelet that you know might make a certain person happy. Than you feel more urged to make it since you want the experience of giving the person the gift and making them happy in the process. Raiding other people their to-do's is always a good place to start too. The collection of patterns on this site can be overwhelming, and others might have found a more do-able collection in their loves or to-do's compared to the endless pages of pattern after pattern. Another thing i try to do to get out of my slump is to find patterns without pictures and make those. You know it will make the creator happy to see someone made one of their designs.

Making stuff for others, in what ever way you think of, can be a start to get back on track before you can make stuff for yourself too in my experience. This won't be the case for everyone ofcourse, but maybe you are a bit like me in this regard and it might help you too! If not, let us know so we can try to help you look for patterns to make or give other advice.

Hope this helps and wish for you to get the joy of braceletmaking back soon 😊

Buying new string, especially special string can motivate you to make more bracelets!
