Oh I need a good vent for my cosplay issues....I'm currently working on Beauregard from Critical Role, and with "currently" I mean "I started 4 years ago and haven't done anything substantial since". The show is even over, Beauregard is not a current character anymore. I used to be so good at getting my cosplays done in time, but a couple of years back, it started that once I hit even a minor roadblock, my brain can't even fathom continuing with sewing. Does anyone else have that problem? Or am I just getting old? |

Nope it's a thing. I haven't left one for that long but it's an interest thing I think.Like it's really cool when you start and finish it but when you're working on it it's kind of eh ya know That's why there's like 4 cscattered around my room that are kind started but not enough to really tell what they're going to be. And I don't feel motivated right not lol |

@IndyHaine I have a graveyard of unfinished cosplay somewhere in the depths of my closet 😂 Some sat for so long I recycled the materials into other cosplay/craft projects.@Hylia224 You might already know, but you have to @ someone for them to get notified of your reply 😁 |

Another dumb thing is I tend to hoard little trinkets, old jewelry and pieces of fabric and cardboard like "I'm totally gonna use this for a cosplay!" Then it ends up in a pile somewhere and I forget about it. But my mother purges like a maniac so I got that from her and end up throwing a bunch of stuff out or donating it. I've probably donated half the stuff I've made because I know I won't wear it or I despise it.I'm a purging hoarder (thanks mom and dad) 🙄 |

@Hylia224 I totally hoard bits and bobs too, except I call it scavenging 😆 Scraps of fabric, old bag straps, old jewelry - it can all come in handy for a craft project. Buying those things new can add up, so I think "hoarding" that stuff can be really useful.

My current projects are a flameblade from Legend of Zelda, Kass (also from Zelda) and armor (you guessed it, from Zelda) I had already made the flameblade but it turned out kind of crappy so I ripped it apart and am now redoing the blade. Another fun thing about costuming! Versatility and recycling!
