Hi, I like just started making bracelets. I've only made 3 alpha bracelets so far. I really want to make the cow bracelets by @sodapop but I don't know if they are too advanced for my beginner skill set. (also sorry if I don't get back to you I'm going somewhere for the day and won't be back until late) |

I started making alphas a few months ago, I found that the cow bracelets were not too difficult as a beginner, they have quite a few colour stitches but it was manageable, the edges might turn out a little wonky, but I would say with you skill set you can start

I haven't done one yet but just know: if youve only done patterns where one color (background color) is on the edges or s simple one where its big blocks of one colors on the sides, then know the parts where theres only 1 knot of a color on the edge are tricky and are probably gonna come out wonky, i've only done one like that so far but i think it should get smoother and easier with practice

you've probably already done the bracelet (sorry!) but what I do is keep the threads on their cards (bobbins? idk) and just thread the bobbins through like I would the thread if i cut it, that way i dont have to worry about tangling or color changing with the same color

oh and adding onto my last thought, this way you dont have to worry about cutting too long threads and having a weird length you cant do anything with (i do recommend using scrap thread for small parts if you have the color and only need a little bit)
