On the app to submit a photo from your camera roll, you click the photo you want and then it just goes into the database for review. But you could accidentally click a different photo and there wouldn’t be anyway to remove for review (although its guaranteed to get declined).

Have you ever got a photo that seems to be in that situation?

Yes, there have definitely been a few patterns submitted that showed something else than something made from a pattern. We even have a pre-written decline message for that case.

We've gotten random selfies and images of pets. A lot of times it is just screenshots of patterns. I think the last one might be the most common.

I'm not always sure, if the photo was really submitted by accident, or if the person just does not understand, that this is meant for photos showing something made from the pattern. Sometimes it seems like they were trying to set it as their profile picture or as if they wanted to use draw alpha.
