soo since school starts in just over a month i need to start school shopping. where can i find nice looking t-shirt’s, sweatshirts, straight/mom/dad jeans, etc. i mainly shop at hollister, american eagle, tilly’s, old navy (mainly for jeans), and kohls (for simple tops and jeans). what are some good more “underrated” shops where i can get some similar clothes? |

I get most of my clothes either online or from thrift stores nowadays lol. I do still have a soft spot for Hot Topic though 😂 but not sure if that’s the vibe you’re looking for

@xdarkfirex im always scared to order online! even if it’s a store i’ve bought from before bc i like to know how things fit. yeah not rlly hot topic. i’ve been told i dress like i’m in the 90s haha. baggy jeans, converse, flannels, baby tees, yk?

@Moogle i’ve only seen one thrift throw in my town but it’s kinda out of the way so i’ve never been in. but i’ll definitely try to make a stop by there sometime soon!

@goodxvibes i used to LOVE target but our closest one has gone so downhill. they never have any good clothes. but i’ll be out of town soon so i’ll check some targets there fs. tysm!

If you can do a little sewing a lot of thrift clothes that are too big or not the right style can be modified into something cute. There's a lot of tutorials out there too if you search things like "thrift clothes upcycle" |

@Moogle i personally suck at sewing but my grandma is great at it! she takes in clothes for us all the time! so i might have her teach me some basics

Aw that's nice she does that, it's a really useful skill and you can make all kinds of cute stuff. I highly recommend learning sewing!
