I always ask people for book recommendations, so I thought everyone can list a few books they would recommend to others, or just some personal favourites. They can range from graphic novels to novels, romance to horror, teen fiction to adult fiction, honestly anything! Feel free to make more than one post, if you want, you can also put in some books you really want to read, maybe someone else have read it already (:

I’ll list some of mine
-keeper of the lost cities (series)
- Amulet (graphic novel)
-the school for good an evil (series)
-I survived (series)
-where the red fern grows
-a tale of magic (and the land of stories series)
-Inkheart (and the ink trilogy)
-the maze runner
-Anne of green gables
-bone (graphic novel series)
-the hunger games
-Trials of Apollo
-the hobbit

Some books I want to read (for a long time):
-the inheritance game
-behind closed doors
-mortal engines
-six of crows/shadow of bones
-lord of the rings
-the song of Achilles
-The blackthorn key
-the giver
-red queen
-a good girl’s guide to murder
-the cruel prince
-no exit
-caraval

Hello. Huge reader here.

I read a little of everything (YA included) and have a monthly book subscription box 😂 I read a lot of Stephen King, Sarah J. Maas, R.F. Kuang, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Grady Hendrix. My favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and thriller, but I still go for books with a rom-com feel every now and then.

Books on your list that I have read:
--The Inheritance Games [Books 1 and 2; I'll get book 3 from the library eventually, but I'm not chomping at the bit to read it. Some people really love them, though!]
--Six of Crows/Shadow & Bone/King of Scars [LOVE this universe and all the books in it!]
--Red Queen [I read book one and didn't want to continue, but one of my teacher friends was OBSESSED with the series.]
--A Good Girl's Guide to Murder [Not my cup of tea, but some really love it. I didn't continue the series.]
--The Cruel Prince [HATED it, didn't continue]
--Caravel [LOVED all of them]

Books/Series I'm itching to read:
--Carrie Soto is Back
--Ninth House (since I love Leigh Bardugo!)
--The Thursday Murder Club
--Truly Devious

im also a huge bookworm! the only book on your want to read list that i have read is six of crows, and it was really good. i couldn't really get into shadow and bone though. I think its because i read six of crows first without knowing about shadow and bone, and six of crows set my expectations a bit higher. I would still try reading shadow and bone first though, because ive heard that there is more world building (i think that's the term) in it.

my favourite books:
the seven husbands of evelyn hugo
daisy jones and the six
babel
number the stars
the outsiders
we need to do something
in the dream house
solitaire
the deep
suffer the children

i would suggest looking up trigger warnings btw

books i want to read:
my best friends exorcism
carrier soto is back
yellowface
i kissed shara wheeler
the road
I'm thinking of ending things
the troop
long live the tribe of fatherless girls
house of leaves

I'm also an avid reader! I read literally almost anything, from romance to ya to classics to thrillers to sci Fi to fantasy and even delve into extreme horror. Some of my all time favorites (they'll show I read anything lol) are:

The count of Monte Cristo
American psycho
The love hypothesis
The time machine
The martian
A deal with the elf king
Frankenstein

Some series I have really enjoyed:

The inheritance games
The Witcher series
The vampire Chronicles (Anne rice is a goddess)
The mortal instruments

I'm always looking for book friends and people to talk about books with. I ramble on about books to my boyfriend all the time. If anyone wants to talk more about any book, wants to buddy read, or anything like that, feel free to message me!!!

So many of my top-rated books are on these lists! ❤️

@harrypotty I see you loved Babel! It's on my nightstand. I hope to read it this summer. Yellowface was also pretty good!

I also recommend both the Jenny Han series for teen readers. I often go back and re-read them when I need something light and happy to read.

The first Shadow & Bone book is alright, and the series does get better and there's a lot more world building (yes, that's the correct term!). Some of the events that happen in books 2 and 3 help to set a better scene for the Six of Crows duology and the King of Scars duology. They aren't necessary, but it adds more to the world.

I could talk about books all day. 😂

@kaciedilla woah thanks for the heads up! I heard of the Thursday murder club before, guess I’ll be adding some new books to my to read list, I’ll check out the authors too!

@harrypotty Omg I’m waiting for a copy of the seven husbands of evelyn hugo right now! Not many copies available haha, number the stars was so good! I was also recommended the outsiders, I’ll definitely check that out (:

@emooemuu That’s good to know! I don’t like horror that much but the plots are always too good to not read- I’ve been wanting to read mortal engines for a while now it keeps popping up everywhere, guess this is a sign…

@fishyknots I have no idea why I still haven’t read little woman yet… I need some catching up to do :’) I have read a lot of Rick riordan’s books and fantasy is one of my favourite genres!

@sparklers I heard of the summer I turned pretty, I might check it out. Two of my friends had read to all the boys I loved before, they been telling me to read it for so longg!

I finished a book yesterday -- Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney. Now I'm making a bracelet (#89617) with a matching color scheme/theme. Does anyone else do this? I'd like to see book and bracelet combos!
