Hey! Is there anyone on here who grew up with the "tooth fairy"? If so, what's your story? Did you believe, and if so, what happened that led you to stop? What did you get? For me, I believed in the tooth fairy for like a year and then things started getting fishy. Exhibit A, my mom left the note up on her computer and I saw it. Exhibit B, I SAW HER COME INTO MY ROOM AT NIGHT! Exhibit C, the writing sounded quite familiar. Some things I got from the tooth fairy were nickels and cereal 😂 WHAT ABOUT YOU?!

I believed in the tooth fairy for a little bit when i was little, but the writing looked like my mom's and when i lost my tooth while traveling there was a note on the table when we got home that i guess somehow i figured out that my mom called a friend to write it and put it in the house. Mostly i got money, but i think i got some cookies one time, too.

actually i think those were just "from fairies", not necessarily the Tooth Fairy. (I really liked fairies when i was little so they "visited" a lot and "left" stuff)

i asked my mom if she believed in the tooth fairy when i was like 7 and she said “yes i believe in it” and i said “lemme ask god”. i went into my room for abt 15 seconds and came out and said “god said your lying”. and apparently i didn’t believe after that (i don’t remember this but this is what my mom had told me). but i would get mostly money and sometimes cute little letters

I think I did believe, but I only got something for the very first tooth I lost. I think it was a pin with an angel on it. Not sure when I stopped believing. I think, if you get presents repeatedly for each tooth lost, you are more likely to find it sus, but for a one time event it's easy to fake as a parent or grandparent (I was sleeping at my grandma's the night I lost my first tooth). |
