I haven't read it, but I've been meaning to check out the 1979 anime adaptation. It was directed by one of the cofounders of Studio Ghibli and looks beautiful!

I 💕 Anne of green gables!! My favorite audible narrator has done every book but the fourth…so I am currently at a standstill while I figure out how to cope with this tragedy…anyway my keyboard recommendations always for some reason bring up green gables which is rly weird imo
