Hi, I was wondering if anyone else struggles with physical and/or mental illness in this community? I personally struggle a lot with both- which leads to a lot of fatigue and inability to work on bracelets unfortunately. That’s part of why I’ve been designing patterns instead lately tbh, but even that is becoming difficult for me now.

You're patterns look very great and I'm glad that you get to design them. I'll hope that one day you'll feel better and be able to knot more patterns and design more patterns again.Just a heads-up to anyone replying: I know from similar forum topics in the past, that some people tend to get very into detail about the struggles that they might have. I ask you to please don't go too into detail or talk about topics not appropriate for braceletbook, as these might be triggering to other users. |

@halokiwi aw thanks, and sorry- I didn’t know this was asked before and lead to possible triggers. I forget that most others aren’t used to having to be aware of that (I’ve had lots of practice in group therapy lol).

I struggle with both physical and mental illness, and find all lot of comfort in designing patterns (as you might guess) 😅.Both knotting and designing patterns is like art therapy for me, and is one of the main reasons I get out of bed everyday. I don't know what I would do without BraceletBook! 😄 |

Bracelet Book has really helped me with my mental struggles. I have a ton of great friends on here and the patterns are lovely and both really help me focus and to keep going.

I have mental and physical issues and coming on bracelet book and interacting with people and the community really makes my days better, even if like today I don't have the spoons to actually make bracelets lol. It's a really positive and accepting place! And I would recommend it to a friend always : ) |

I've struggled with mental issues - ED (recovering) and maybe OCD (my doctors think I might have it)I find a lot of comfort in making bracelets, it distracts me. |

Short answer is, yes. I struggle with a variety of mental illnesses, but bracelet making helps keep me busy and out of my head!
