Hi! I just logged back on to braceletbook the other day, and its been quite a while, but I was wondering if bracelets have changed your life, or the way you think about things. For me, bracelets really helped me during Covid-19, a time that was a struggle for the most of us!

this probably isn't as profound as you were hoping for, but making bracelets is one of the few things that i can do while i listen to podcasts to keep myself focused, so it's allowed me to listen to some podcasts that i've really enjoyed and it's definitely changed my life in that way haha

I've always loved painting, and I wanted to learn pixel art but had a hard time knowing where to start. Designing alpha patterns has really helped me get into it!I'm not too great at tying bracelets but my partner wears the things I've made every day and that feels nice 😊 |

It makes me not stressed. I like listening to music while making them too

It’s an outlet when I’m stressed. I can kind of tie my feelings into the strings and once I’m done they’re out of me and into something beautiful. Also, knotting inspired me to try and run my own small business so it’s kind of changed my life in terms of potential careers and my lifestyle :>

I always set a time to make bracelets and it’s just a time to decompress and overall improves my mental health, making them makes me not think about my day or what I’m worried about, I can just sit there and let time fly by while I watch a movie or video I enjoy 🙂 it gives my mind a break and it’s almost like a night routine because I make them in the evening/night

BRacelet making gave me something to do during the pandemic and distracts my mind from stress when I do it. Overall bracelet making improves my mental health and makes me feel good about myself because it is a hobby that people tell me I'm really good at.

It gives me something to do with my hands usually, and it kinda pushes me to be more active on social media platforms like Instagram. Even now, I’m pushing myself to be more creative with how I take photos 😄

my hands are always very active. i can never stop doing thing. i always gotta be moving my hands (i dont have adhd just important to note, im just like that (not that having adhd is a bad thing tho)). but for me it's really relaxing, it takes my mind off of my big problems and allows me to focus on smaller problems like making the wrong knot and having to undo it lol. ive recently started knotting in school as well and i get some compliments about it from time to time (haha and then there are those people who criticize me for doing it but in generally (esp. recently? idk why?) people think that im rly weird and they dont try to hide the fact, not just bracelet making but they just like to criticize me for being me 😜) and that's really great! i also am always making birthday gifts for my friends (haha which is just me trying to pretend like i have more friends than i do bc really like 2/3 of the people who i give gifts to probably dont consider me their friend but like yea) and it always makes me overjoyed to see how happy they are 🙂 but then i do get rly mad at myself and stressed out when im not done in time for their bday bc im a really busy personik i said that there were a lot of other things that like have negatively affected me but those come out of me just always being a negative person so like overall i think it's helped my mental health a lot, i just dont have enough time to do it like i have struggled (and defo continue to struggle) a lot with my mental health but i rly think that knotting helps a lot sry for the paragraph lol if u read this then dang |
